Dear Family,
My condolences on your loss.
I worked with Sam on the Babe Ruth World Series Parades lettering signs for the parade vehicles. When Sam was in charge you knew the parade was going to be spectacular. While Sam passed off the parade baton a few years back the memories I have of Sam in charge of the parades is one I will always keep.
God Bless.

We as baby boomers are losing our mentors and heroes each and every day. I can vividly remember Sam collecting $1 for needy veterans each time we met, Years later as our neighbor, he always reminded me importance of keeping God, family and our great country 1st- I always felt inspired !

Pat and Dan,
So sorry to hear of your dad's passing. It was only a few weeks ago that we were sharing stories of one dad passing and now another of the good old ones is gone. I was out of town for the weekend and was not able to visit you personally. I hope you know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. I hadn't seen your dad in a while, but have fond memories of running into him over the years and of swapping "dad" stories with Pat. Vince

Grandpa I will truly miss you. I enjoyed all of the summers visiting you and grandma and the Thanksgivings and Easters you spent with us in Maryland as you traveled to and from Florida. Your laugh was infectious and your stories and teachings will stay with me forever. I love you and may you rest in peace.

Sam was always a dynamo and a real pleasure to know. Sam was a friend going back 2 generations before me. Many things come to mind, but I will never forget the way Sam folded the flag at my grandfather's funeral, 50 years ago. A standard of excellence I haven't seen since.
