Stephen, No words to express our loss. We have to go on without you. You were at our house almost every day - I keep waiting for you to walk in and say "What's up O'Maley" to Patrick. We've been singing and playing guitar and drums every day to carry on the tradition - The Vikings kareoke will never be the same on Sundays. We, especially your brother Mike, have lost a best friend, Uncle, brother in-law and a huge light in our lives. There is not a minute that goes by that we don't hear your happy voice and think of you, Stephen. We love you.
Mike, Kristin, Michael, Patrick and Karianne

We will be at everyone of your football games next fall and will continue to cheer for you and the team just as your Dad had done. We are sure he'll be watching over you and your sister with a big smile and great pride!! We are so sorry and saddened by your loss. We will continue to pray for your Dad and your family.

Stephen- you probably don't remember your sister and I sitting in the living room of Maple Street with you. You were just a baby- with such light! The first baby that I got to spend any time with- You loved to be held in a lap and then to fall backward, holding hands. Baby hands. And such a laugh. I am sorry, I am not there to be with your Mother and Father and Sister and Brothers during this time. My heart is breaking for all of them and your family. May sweet memories sustain you all. Mike, Gladys, Mike, Deanne and Doug,
We are very deeply saddened with Steve's passing. I just talked to him before we left in December to head south to see Mom & Dad and our son Brandon over Christmas. He was my go to guy for our apartments up there in Jamestown. He could fix anything! I will miss that but more importantly I will miss his friendship. He was always upbeat and fun to talk to. We laughed a lot together. He was definitely a great father as I know he was dedicated to being involved in any of his kid's activities. A lot of times when I was trying to get him to fix something, he would say "well I got to go to the kid's game on .... then I got another kid's game on ...." I loved and respected that from him. Steve was a truly great father. His kids came first. God Bless his kids and all of you during this time that frankly, he was taken to early. I will miss talking to him and seeing his smiling face. RIP Steve. We all love and will miss you!

I am so lucky to have known him as long as I have and inherited him as a friend because of his lifelong friendship with my husband, Kurt. I will miss feeding him dinner whenever he would let me. I will miss his great big smiles and bear hugs.I will truely miss our deep conversations about so many things. Many times he gave me great advice and always told it like it was in a loving way. He had a way about him that warms my heart and makes me smile just thinking about him. I will always hold on to that and all of our great memories. Rest in peace my friend <3

Steve was what you would call a stand up guy. One of those guys that would do anything for you no matter what. The guy who was the first one to get started in the morning and the last to take his tools off at the end of the day. If you needed a hand he was there with a big smile and a quick comment to make you smile. His laughter and energetic attitude will be greatly missed. To Mike, Gladys, Deanna, Mike and Doug and Steve your children. I remember you as a kid. We all grew up in the area together and no matter what anyone says all of us from the Ashville community will always be family in our own way. Years may pass without seeing or talking to anyone but there is always that bond that brings us all together in good and bad times. This is one of those times that your family is going to need that bond. We all hurt for your family and our pain goes deep on your passing. May you rest in peace and your family have your memories live on through their years, till you all meet again. Dee, Mike and Doug the pain of losing a sibling will never go away, although Steve isn't here he will live on in your hearts and memories. Mike and Gladys I cannot and imagine your pain of burying your child. My heart breaks for you. Your children Steve will live on with sadness and that sadness will overcome them at times that will hurt so bad, but my advice when that happens remember something funny or heartwarming and smile that is the best tribute to your dad. Kris, I know we don't know each other but your pain is unimaginable. Remember your fondest memories and smile when the grief overtakes you. May God be with you all. RIP Steve, my families hearts and prayers are with each of you.
