Obituary of Peter P. Scott

Peter Paul Scott, October 18th, 1964-March 15th 2014, son, brother, father, friend, and firefighter. Pete was a special man who lived his life as he wanted; he was a gentleman, friend, and a special man who touched many lives. He is survived by his mother Mary Lou Powell, brother David (Tammi), daughter Melissa R. son Christopher A. of North Creek N.Y. grandson Nathaniel, nephews, Cody and Zachery, and many friends at the Lakewood Fire Department and American Legion. He was a member of the Lakewood Fire Department and a charter member of the Lakewood Sons of the American Legion. He was hard working, fun, and full of love and laughter, he will be greatly missed and set a standard by which all men should live. WE LOVE YOU MAN and look forward to seeing you on the other side. He died of lung cancer peacefully surrounded by friends and family. The funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday March 19, 2014 in the Lind Funeral Home. Peter Dawson, Lakewood Fire Department Chaplain will officiate. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home where a Firefighter's Memorial Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lakewood Volunteer Fire Department, 37 JW Packard Blvd, Lakewood, NY 14750.
