So very sorry to her about Mary Anne's passing. And feel worse that we didn't know in time to come to her funeral. She was in my thoughts a lot over the weekend and know her spirit was close. She was very special to us and we miss her ever day. We know that she is with Les and that they are happy once again. We loved them both.
Mary Anne ( Reiber ) Davis was my 6th grade teacher in 1972 - 1973 at the Sunnyside school in Bemus Point. She was know as Miss Reiber then, as it was before she got married. She was one of my favorite teachers and she always had animals in her classroom and the kids helped care for them. She gave my two mice. We also took a trip to Toronto, that was such a blast. It saddens me to hear of her death. God Bless her and may she RIP. ♥
I worked with Mary Ann for many years, first at Sunnyside Elem. and then at Bemus Point Elem. She was a good friend, and an excellent teacher. She will be missed.
Too many memories to mention, of the woman I knew as "Aunt" Mary Anne, and whom, I was apparently named after ( minus the E). Think of her often, now she and my Mom can enjoy their morning coffee chats once again.
