Obituary of Arleen B. Harmon

Arleen B. Harmon, 81, of 305 East Fifth St. passed away unexpectedly at 7:16 p.m. Sunday, July 20, 2014 in the emergency room of W.C.A. Hospital. An area resident for most of her life she was born December 30, 1932 in Chicago, IL a daughter of the late John and Dorothy McComb Boggs. In previous years she had worked for several furniture factories in the Jamestown area including Maddox Table Company, Crawford Furniture Company, the Fancher Chair Company and the American Manufacturing Company. Surviving are her children, Linda Galbreath , Anna Wilcox, David Galbreath, Cecil Galbreath, Lori Anderson, Sherri Harmon, John Harmon, her stepchildren, Nancy Waterman, Clifford Harmon, Jr, Dale Harmon as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Jack Galbreath, her second husband Clifford Harmon, a daughter Jacqueline Galbreath and a sister Beverly Arleen Galbreath. The funeral will be held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home. Pastor Brett Heintzman, pastor of the Free Methodist Church of Jamestown will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Sunset Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service on Wednesday in the funeral home.
