I was a year behind Bruce at JHS. He was the ultra-cool yet friendly upperclassman. I am grateful he had so much love and care throughout his life.

So many wonderful memories from the "old block" which comprised Lakin, Harding, Stewart, and Fairmount Ave. Bruce taught me everything I know about sports when I was about four years old. I know he's in a better place now where he's able to run, jump, and throw a ball around like we used to. My condolences to Harry, Dodie, Jay, and Kim, Bruce will be dearly missed!

I knew Bruce in both both before and after his illness. The light remained inside of him! Seeing Bruce made me realize that we may think we are our intellect, our profession, our personality, but really we are our Soul. There is a part of us that can't be taken away. That part is love, and Bruce had that within.

Bruce was—and will forever be—full of light. He was a dear cousin and will be deeply missed; yet, now his soul is free to soar, unhampered. Love to you, Dodie & Harry, and to Jay, Kim and all the nephews and nieces. May you find comfort in this poem by Robert Ingersoll:
"In the night of death, hope sees a star; and listening—love can hear the rustle of a wing." xo Cherie & Jonathan

Knowing the kind of person that Bruce's brother is and the way Jay speaks of his parents and brother, I can only imagine the loss they are feeling. Bruce's life must have tested all of their faiths. Take comfort and the love you gave him and the peace he will live in forever.
