For many years you were like a little brother to me..I watched you grow into a wonderful daddy and watched your sweet babies grow to be strong women because of your love and guidance. Our kids called us Uncle Bob and Aunt Margie and will always. We loved each other's grandchildren..Oh the many many memories to cherish. And then, we were there for each other at a time that was destined to happen..There was never such a true comforting precious love as we had for a time. Eventually, time healed the hurt and we both knew we would always be friends..God rest your soul, dear "Bob Bear"

No night without
There is no night without a dawning
No winter without a spring
And beyond the dark horizon
Our hearts will once more sing...
For those who leave us for a while
Have only gone away
Out of a restless, care worn world
Into a brighter day.
Helen Steiner Rice, American poet (1900 - 1981)
Thinking of you all today….
Love, Shel

Traci- I am so sorry for your loss. It didn't really dawn on me about your father until my brother reminded me of the coffee cup. Our dad would take us there for breakfast along with Robert Bastian when they were done working with the mail trucks for a little while. Your father made the best home fries and always made us feel welcomed. I would still go there when I was going to JCC just for lunch. Jamestown is a small town where everyone knows everyone in some way. I am so sorry about his passing away. It is never easy especially when it's one of your parents and they leave way too soon. I know he is up there in heaven among great friends and family and that's what gets me through some tough times. If you ever need anything, my family are always here for you. May you find comfort during this time in your life.

I'm so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I haven't seen him in years, but will always remember him as a kind loving person. I have pictures of him on Presque Isle at a picnic when I was about 6 and he was 15 or 16. I also found pictures of a picnic with Aunt Caroline, Uncle Ivar, Victor Peterson, and others at my house on Fairview many many years ago.
Again, I'm so sorry for all of you, and your loss. God bless you at this difficult time.

"To Russel My Brother, Whom I Slept With"
Truly, for now, your loving manner and voice will be missed.
So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight. Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord.
2 Corinthians 5:6-8
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
John 5:24
