The thing that stands out the most when I remember Aunt Jane is that smile. It was disarmingly amazing. Like walking into the ocean on a mid-summer day: so calming, so joyful and so comforting. I also thought of Aunt Jane as June Cleaver but with some serious sass, perfect with a little mystery included. Thank you for playing such a huge role in my Mom's life, she adored you. I think of you two as the original Thelma and Louise only a little kinder and little gentler and an awful lot more into shopping. So Aunt Jane, to you I raise a glass, bow my head and thank you for making me proud to be a Caskey.
