Mrs Larson and family I want to extend my deepest sympathy. Mr Larson was such a sweet man. I enjoyed visiting with him and I felt so bad when I would see him at rehab at LSS as I know he was not doing well.Take care of yourself Mrs Larson.

Lois, you probably don't recognize me by my married name but I am Jim & Doris Lee's niece, now living in Ontario. I remember "Herbie" from my days as a legal secretary upstairs in the Bank of Jamestown. He was the smiling young yet serious face one saw coming in the front door of the Bank and your sweet face just inside the Second Street entrance. Unfortunately I was never privileged to hear him sing or play the organ but I can well imagine the reverence that he brought to each piece of music, now a part of heaven's choirs. You two were a beautiful couple brought together with a little help from the aforementioned co-workers. It is my prayer that the Lord will surround you and comfort you in the passing of Herbie. With my deepest sympathy, Dianne (Sanden) Pepper

Everytime I hear someone sing "The Lord's Prayer" I think of Herb. It brought tears to my eyes when he sang it at our wedding, nearly 60 years ago. I was only 5 when we moved next door to his family in Sinclairville. God be with your family at this time of grief. Joyce

My sympathies to Lois and family on the passing of Herbert.
I met him in January 2015 at the Lutheran Home where my mom was just across the hall from him in the B1 rehab unit.
He introduced himself and Lois in the dining hall that day and we talked about his banking days and some of what he had accomplished in his life! He was a very lovely man.
Lois you are in my prayers. Stay strong in Jesus as HE will get you throught this tough time.
It was a blessing to have to known him for such a short time.
