Sandie and Family,
Gert and Joe were absolutely fireballs and star mechanics of the Chautauqua County Democratic Party. If we only had Gert working the phones these past few years, many Democrats who've lost lately would've won. The Chautauqua County Democratic Party sends its deepest condolences on this sad day. (But I must tell you I smiled too...remembering the good old days of our party and Gert giving me and everyone else hell for not working hard enough.)

Your parents were like second parents to me when we were young. I will never forget them and will always remember when they stood with me and my dad in the church right before we went down the aisle at our wedding. Your mom said" go ahead, we will be waiting for you right here." She was a wonderful lady and a great mom. love, Meredith
