Dear Sara Lynn, Michael, Barbara, Paul, and Dan,
My father recently told me the sad news about Bud's passing. Please accept Sarah's and my condolences.
I was remembering our family connections, going all the way back to carpooling to Sunday School at the Temple so many years ago.
I'm going to be in Jamestown in March to empty my father's house on Arlington to get it ready to sell, since my father is now in assisted living at Orchard Grove. I'll probably be stopping by the Weitsman/Weinstein Company to recycle some metal!
We'll be making a donation to the St. Susan Center in Bud's memory. It sounds like a great organization.
Love,
Larry

Weinsteins,
I'm so sorry to learn of Buddy's passing. My parents have kept me abreast of his health issues over the years; I know he's struggled for quite some time. I remember Buddy fondly and recall going to Moonbrook with him when he'd participate in a tournament. To me, he was larger than life--big, strong, athletic--and I knew to keep my distance if he played badly. :)
I've missed him and your family. My love and condolences to all of you.

Thank you so much to Sara and Bud Weinstein for being so kind to me as your paperboy on Pleasantview Ave. Bud was so kind and generous. He is someone we all want to be like as a good and loyal person. He must have touched the lives of many people. Like my father, his legacy will last forever.

I was the paperboy when Mr Weinstein lived on Pleasantview Ave in Jamestown. I can never forget his kindness and generosity he showed me when I was just a paperboy. He opened his doors to me when I came to collect his weekly cost of the Jamestown Post Journal on those blizzard nights during the winter. He cared about me. I had the opportunity of being his caddy several times at Moon Brook CC.
We should all strive to be like Mr Weinstein, a real mentor, a real honest and caring man.
