Obituary of Shirley L. Apotosh

Shirley L. Apotosh, 89, met her Savior face to face on Tuesday, April 5, 2016. She was born June 28, 1926, the daughter of the late Edward and Elsie Lane. She was a graduate of Jamestown High School and did secretarial work. Her true vocation though was being a wonderful helpmate to her husband, the Rev. C. Leroy Apotosh, who preceded her in death Sept. 5, 1983. Shirley was active in churches, serving as organist, board member and teacher. She loved music and was a former member of Music Study, Mozart Chorus and Mozart Club. She is survived and loved by daughter Linda (Dave) Fuller, and son Jeffrey (Diana) Apotosh; grandchildren Rebecca (Steve) Beeler, Sara (Paul) Drury, Jessica Crawford and Ryan Apotosh; great-grandchildren Dakota Crawford and Owen Beeler; sisters Joyce Hall, Betty Sorg and Beverly Carlson; brothers-in-law Robert Apotosh and Angelo Nalbone and many nieces and nephews. Friends and family will gather Monday, April 11, from 10-11 a.m. at Lind's Funeral Home followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. and then burial at Sunset Hill.
