Sue, Joanie, Mark, Andy, Steve and great grand kids
Marti, Briana and I were very sad to hear from Sue about Margaret passing.
I sent some pictures of Briana and Fabienna to her before Mother's Day and had more planned to send. Hope that may have been helpful.
Many fond memories passing through now as I remember Christmas at the Vikings, our trip to New York City in the 1950's, Swedish meatballs, Greek (whatever the name was in the grape leaves), korv, lutefisk and summer evenings sitting on the porch at Chautauqua Lake during our family gatherings.
Margaret and Eleanora were both blessed that the LSS existed in Jamestown and provided such supportive and dignified care for so many years.
I'm sure Margaret will rest in peace after her long journey. She and Donald didn't have an easy beginning. An unfulfilled dream was to take them to visit Sweden.
Margaret was a wonderful, kind person and taught many lessons in her quiet way.
Love, Jeff

I was saddened to learn of Margaret's passing. I first met Margaret when she was living at Hultquist, when visiting my mother, who also lived there. I came to really know Margaret after she moved to skilled nursing wing, where I served as a volunteer, visiting residents regularly. She and I loved talking about a number of subjects: topics about our common Swedish heritage, our Swedish relatives, the fact that her name was Margaret Elaine and mine is Elaine Margaret (both having middle names after respective aunts). She was brought up in the same church as my father was, and I learned after a few visits that she had been a "Lund," the Lund family that my family (Stark) knew SO well. I remember, as a child, my Grandma Stark often talking about "Courtney & Louella", and my dad knew the family very well. Margaret and I often talked about "Tucker," who she loved dearly. I will miss our times together. My deepest sympathy to all of you.

Your Mom and my Mom (Myra), were good neighbors on Pennsylvania Ave.
I remember you girls...you liked Moms rice pudding.
Prayers for you. As you bid her good bye.
