I'm very sad to hear of Michael's passing. He was my childhood best friend in Pittsburgh (Birdland). He's from a family that most of us can only dream about having. They were very kind to my sister Jennifer and myself, when things were not always so easy for us as kids. -Jeff

Oh Cheryl, my heart broke when I read the news of Michael's sudden death. I didn't have your current address and I apologize for the impersonal online condolence. I know you have a loving and supportive family but hope you have also found good friends in your new hometown. We plan to make a contribution to the Audubon Society in his memory. I am deeply sorry for your loss. Mike was our plant manager at Valeo, I had the upmost respect for him as a person and a leader. Mike lead by example, we could never have asked for more. He was a very kind and genuine person. I would also like to acknowledge the fact that Valeo chartered a bus for anyone to travel to N.Y. for the funeral. What a kind and thoughtful gesture. If I had known his wife or girls I would have taken advantage of their generosity. Mike will forever be missed. May God heal your broken hearts! My deepest sympathy to all of his family.

My deepest sympathy to Cheryl and his daughters. It was a pleasure to have known and worked with Mike whend we were at Valeo. I especially was glad to have been able to visit Krakow, Poland with him for a VPS meeting. Spending the week with him on that trip has always been one of my treasured memories. He was a dedicated and caring person who was also able to laugh and enjoy life in the moment, and he will be missed.

My thoughts and prayers to Cheryl and her family as well to all the Sobieralskis. Mike was one of the first kids I knew growing up on N Wren Dr and we spent many a time together in grade school, high school and throughout the college years and afterwards. He was one of a kind and as good of a person one could get to know. God Bless Michael.
