Very unsettling to learn of Joey's (Little Joe's) passing. He and I spent many many miles together in our JHS and JCC years. Our lives took different paths after our military service, but I always considered Joey a friend. A big heart and a zest for life.
Very heartwarming to hear that he has such a large and loving family. My sincere condolences to the Casel family.

Very seldom in life are we blessed with a really true friend and Joe was that to me. My heart goes out to Sue and the boys and I truly hope they will find peace in the knowledge that Joe was a good influence in so many lives and this will keep his memory alive. He had a good heart and would help anyone in need and had done so many times. May God comfort and give you strength in this time of grief.

I had not seen Joe in quite a while till he called me in May to haul garbage for him. I thought I recognized his voice on the phone but was unsure calling him Sir. He told me that impressed him and gave me business. I just got the truck and had not taken the cap off yet and he wondered if I could get everything in there and he gave me a tip when I did. It was nice speaking to him and listening to his interesting stories while I loaded my truck he was a funny guy. I could always tell he had a big heart for people he was a very likable person may he rest in peace. Very sorry for your loss.

Dear Sue and the Casel family,
We are so very sorry for your loss. Sandy and Joe always had the best of times at the yard and their many adventures. He gave the kids their first antique collectible toy, and was so very excited to do so. Joe always had the best stories to tell. He will truly be missed in every way, we will never forget him.
Love,
Sandy and family

Dear Sue, Jeremy, Miranda, and Casel Family,
You are all in our hearts and prayers. May God wrap his loving arms of comfort and strength around you.
"I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love." Leo Buscaglia
“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.” (Jesus speaking) John 10:27-29

Dear Sue and Family:
Words alone cannot express my thoughts and memories of Joe.
I always told him was the best...he NEVER once told me he couldn't help me ( and there were SO many times he did).
He would never accept any monetary exchange from me, and you always left the yard with a bit bit of good advice, or maybe candy, or a container of his beans.
He DID value life, and Sue and his family were in every conversation.
So many people were blessed by his generosity, in many regards. I know I was.
I wish I could be there to share in the coming two days, however, was unable to get a flight from Florida.
He will missed by more people than we can count, certainly by me.As many of my friends have said...he was such a nice man.
As we pause to give thanks, certainly, it will include very special memories of my favorite cousin, Joe.
Love and compassion to all,
Cousin Linda

Joe was a cool guy. He helped us a lot with different things through the years. My husband Bud, worked at Auto Wrecking for many years. Our kids grew up there ,at the junk yard. Many of our family and friends were there too. IT was a good place to hang out, Joe always found things for me and the kids to do. He was a good lunch maker too! We all would wait for him to come the stairs every morning to start the day. Joe will never be forgotten.! We all miss Joe, and the junk yard. Joe will never be forgotten! He will be missed!
