Margaret Johnson was my mothers sister. My Aunt "Peggy". She, Uncle Cliff, and my cousins,Cindy , Randy, Blair and Earl, were all a large part of my earliest, fondest, childhood memories. I come from a family of 5 children, so when we visited, (which was often), it was amazingly fun, sometimes chaotic, but always welcoming. They represented family, outside of my own. They always have. My Aunt Peggy was no small part of that feeling of being loved. She was my mother when my own mother wasn't there She was funny, strict when she had to be, kind and generous. So many great memories of Westfield and Westman Road, and all of our get together's over the years.
Times change, but she never did,She and my mom were close right up until my mom passed several years ago, and although it became more difficult to see everyone as we all started to raise families of our own, whenever I saw my aunt "Peggy", and received one of her aunt "Peggy" hugs. I was still just "Eddie", and I remembered how loved I'd always felt. I will miss you Aunt "Peggy".
