We had hoped to get to the church this morning to express our sympathy in person but didn't get the snow cleared away in time. We are so sorry for your loss of Karen. The Husted family were an important part of our LUMC family. We also had a atrong connection through Marriage Encounter with Ted and Winnie. (The resemblance of Karen to her mom is very evident.) May you all be comforted now and in the days to come.

Dear David and Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of loss. We have good memories of Kit when she served at Westons Mills and we were in Olean. We also reconnected when she served Hope Church and we were in Niagara Falls. Kit fought the good fight and we are thankful for her life with the Lord. May God surround you with his comfort and peace.
In Christ,
Dave and Diane Kofahl

Dear David Snyder and Family,
My heart is heavy with this sad news about Kit. As your Davidson classmate, David, I enjoyed watching you and Kit become a couple, and I always sensed that your relationship modeled genuine affection, mutual respect, and a deep well of love that overflowed to others around you ~ including strangers as well as friends.
As a religion major, I recall haviing at least one class with Kit my sophomore year. While fuzzy on details, I remember Kit’s wit, insight, and good humor in that course. Because Kit was a day-brightener, her warm smile was always an existential affirmation to me (I think we we taking McKelway’s Seminar on Tillich’s Systematic Theology!)
God bless you all as you gather during this season of hope to celebrate Kit’s life and mourn her passing.

Dear David and family,
We got to know Kit via various Conference functions and at most of these we would chat with her while she was knitting! Even when we visited her in Oakfield just 4 days before she passed away, we saw evidence of her knitting "stuff" close at hand. We will remember her as a sweet, caring, and lovely woman whose time with us seems too brief.
While we will be unable to be with you on December 16th, know that our prayers and deepest sympathies will be.
God bless you all,
Ray and Donna

So sorry to hear of Kits passing, I met you all at WNY annual conference and drove the "boys" home because Kit had to attend one of her parishioners as they passed. She was a wonderful woman, kind and loving and will be missed by all who knew her. Gods Blessings be on you all.

When Kit and David met at Davidson College, they impressed me as two of the finest people on campus - always radiantly outgoing and encouraging to others. I have the highest admiration and appreciation for their family, and mourn this great loss with all those that know them.

I am so sorry to learn of Kit's passing. My prayers remain with her family and friends who grieve. She lit up a room whenever she entered, and I look forward to seeing her again in our heavenly home.
