Dan was a significant influence in my life. In fact, I write this from my desk at Pratt & Whitney, and my career at Pratt was born out of a conversation I had with Dan at his home in 1991. I was seeking direction in my life, and at his suggestion I got into the aviation business, which has occupied the past quarter-century of my life, and has offered opportunities beyond anything I ever expected as we talked over coffee that morning.
I will miss Dan greatly, would like to express a deep gratitude for the multitude of ways he has blessed me and my family, and offer my sincerest condolences to the Weinstein family.

Dear Jonolyn and family,
We were shocked and saddened to learn of Dan's death. I cherished his friendship, and the times we spent together talking about a lot of things - particularly airplanes.
Please accept our sincere condolences.

Dear Jonolyn and Family,
We just received the news about Dan. We are out of town for the holiday's, but Judy let us know.
We want you to know we are thinking of you, and that we are sending you our love.
My dad so loved both of you, and
considered you dear friends. He and Dan shared many great conversations about the Airforce and flying. He always told us about your adventurous travels!
We will be in touch when we return home.
Again, we are thinking of you...

Dear Jonolyn, my deepest sympathy to you Sandy & Amy (and family) on the passing of Dan. Going back many, many years, I thought so very highly of your family on Widrig & getting to babysit the girls while we resided right behind you on Kenmore (and we're still there). My thoughts & prayers to you. Love, Susan

Jonlyn,
My sincere condolences. I was saddened to hear of Danny's passing. We enjoyed many aviation discussions together as we were both pilots. I used to fly into Jamestown with Joe Baker and have lunch at the plant. I also remember the time I stayed at your home when I broke my nose water skiing in Lake Chautauqua. Danny not only found a surgeon to set my nose (they wouldn't do it in the ER), but invited me to stay with you that evening. He was a real gentleman and a pleasure to do business with and I'll miss him.
