Obituary of Daniel C. Weinstein
Daniel C. Weinstein, 83, of 3 Ridgley Terrace, died unexpectedly December 24, 2017.
He was born in Jamestown on May 24, 1934, a son of the late Ezra and Helen Anderson Weinstein.
Daniel attended the University of Michigan and was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
He was the founder and president of Vac Air Alloys.
Surviving is his wife, Jonolyn Stevens Weinstein, whom he married October 14, 1956; two daughters: Sandy Busch of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. and Amy (Gary) Rusnak of Mentor Ohio; four granddaughters: Morgan Rusnak Arnold of Spokane, WA, Olivia Rusnak of Lakewood, Ohio, Samantha Busch of Charlotte, NC and Sidney Busch of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Harold "Bud" Weinstein who died February 5, 2016.
At Dan's request, no funeral service or visitation will be observed.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Marvin Community House, 2 W. 5th St., or the St. Susan Center, 31 Water St., both Jamestown, NY 14701.
