In over 70 years of friendship their are so many attributes about Phyllis I could relay . Topping my list of endearments was her easy going way and her ability to stay true to herself. She would tell me things about herself but she didn't talk about others. She would relay stories about things she did or didn't do that might raise an eyebrow or bring a frown, then she would glance up with a twinkle in her eye and say ,"Isn't that awful",and laugh. Phyllis danced to her own tune and let the chips of opinion, mine included, fall where they may. She was unflappable, flexible and found a way through a situation to benefit all involved.
She remained an attractive, caring women and in many ways a women ahead of her time
She was a once in a life time friend. I will always hold her in my heart and my memories and oh what memories they are! Thanks Phyllis for being in my life. Iva
