Bill has been a fixture in our neighborhood from the time it was first developed. I will miss his presence across the street from our home. I have many memories of knowing Ruth and Bill when we first moved here. Throughout the years, I have enjoyed chats with Bill as he related how new our neighborhood was when he first settled here. He shared many stories about his mother's shop in Jamestown, his military years, and his experiences with boats, motorcycles, and planes. As he aged, the emphasis switched to Dr. appointments and medical issues but nevertheless he stayed his independent and rather stubborn self! It won't seem right not to be able to drop in, sit on the ottoman by his chair and chat. I will miss him.
