Sincere condolences to Marina and Gene's family from Jane, Dan and Jerome Brown.
What a wonderful, engaged, inspiring and effective teacher he was right from the beginning of his life in Clymer, in addition to being an involved and caring member of the larger community.
The year we in the Class of '68 had him for Earth Science, he gave us an assignment over the Christmas holidays to learn to draw the map of the continental US and be able to delineate the states plus AK and HI. That knowledge has remained with and served me well my entire adult life.
Sadly, he was unable to join us for our 50th class reunion last summer, but he will forever hold a cherished place in the hearts of his students.
