Obituary of Donna M. Ecklof

Donna M. Ecklof, 85, of Jamestown, passed away Saturday November 2, 2019 at UPMC Chautauqua Hospital. She was born April 27, 1934 in Jamestown the daughter of the late John and Ula Bennett Greenwood. Donna was a member of the Antique Club, the Rodeo Senior Citizens of Gerry, and for over 30 years the Kiantone Fire Department Auxiliary. She enjoyed bus trips, card playing, and going out to eat. Surviving are two sons, David C. J. Ecklof; Eric S. Ecklof; a daughter, Kerry (Roger) Coan; a granddaughter, Kaitlin (Joshua) Kell all of Jamestown; a brother, William (Brenda) Greenwood of Jamestown and Florida; a sister, Doris Whaley of Jamestown; and nieces and nephews, John, Lori, and Jodie; and Mike and Nena. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Carl L. Ecklof whom she married March 11, 1956 and who died February 9, 1999. Donnas' family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. McKimm and the staff in the Emergency Room, and on the 4th and 5th floors at UPMC Chautauqua Hospital for their kindness and care during this time. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
