Bagnall, whom she married June 3, 1939 and who died November 30, 2005. Helen was born July 25, 1917 in Antrim, Pa. and was a daughter of the late Charles and Edith Swanson Edstrom. In earlier years, she was employed as a secretary by Hopes Windows and later by the Boy Scouts office in Jamestown. She had also been a literacy volunteer and was a long time member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. Helen was a wonderful hostess who enjoyed preparing for and hosting gatherings for both family and friends. Surviving is her sister, Donna Edstrom of Jamestown; a son, Rev. Ronald (Joyce) Bagnall of Farmingdale, ME and daughter, Janet (Karen) Bagnall of Utica, NY; four grandchildren: Karin Bagnall, Jon Mark Bagnall and David (Jennifer) Bagnall, all of Brooklyn, NY, and Sarah (Robin) Farrow of London, England; three great-grandchildren: Erik Bagnall, Kristoffer Bagnall and Chelsea Farrow; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband of 66 years, Ed, she was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Clifford and Marilyn Edstrom; and nephew, Thomas Edstrom. Helen's family gives special thanks for Lutheran's A-2 Staff, Hospice, and Pastors Daniel Rumfelt and Tara Lamont Eastman for all of their love and care. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, November 29th in the Lind Funeral Home, led by Helen's son, the Rev. Ronald Bagnall. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.
