I remember volunteering to give Roger a ride back from the Viking Lodge Doppa Grytta just before Christmas 2018. When I thought it was time to leave I looked around only to find him at a table surrounded by four lovely ladies enjoying his company. He told me to go get a drink and come back for him in thirty minutes! Roger was a great guy who lived life to the fullest I will miss him..

Sending prayers and hugs to the Edborg family. Thanks to Kay and Roger there was a real neighborhood feel to the area around Swanson Road and Willard Street Extension in past years. We all were busy raising children. And Kay and Roger were always very generous with their swimming pool and with dinner invitations. I am thankful for all the times my children spent at the Edborg home and all the times that Scott and Amy spent at our home. To me, the grey house on the corner will always be the Edborg house. Thanks to Roger and Kay for all the very happy neighborhood memories. Mary Brickley and children

My sincere condolences to the family. Our families have known each other for years. My mother, Joyce Bergen Johnson, was good friends with Roger’s sister, Joyce, growing up on “SwedeHill”. When Roger would see me, he always called me Joyce because he said I reminded him of my mom. It always gave me a nice feeling. My boys had Roger for their Sunday school teacher and they always enjoyed talking sports with him. Roger was such a wonderful person; he will be greatly missed. With sincere sympathy, Becky Johnson Bloomquist

Tim:
Please accept my condolences and extend same to your brothers and sister as, unfortunately, Rosanne and I are flying out tomorrow for some R&R and will not be able to pay our respects in-person. I have very fond memories of your dad going back a long time. When I first started working for may dad I will always remember how kind and patient he was with my inexperience. Over the years I came to very much enjoy calling on him and having lots of side chats about "things". I will always remember Roger as a soft spoken gentle man and a gentleman, a rare combination anymore. I will miss him a lot.
Sincerely - Dan Johanson

So sad to hear about your dad’s passing. Many memories of our parents(Don and Elsie Hogan) enjoying life together with Roger and Kay and helping around the community. Hang on to all those great memories you have of that great man.

The family of Lee 'Barney' Kellogg (1932-1995) extends to each of you our most sincere sympathy in Roger's passing.
He was a lovely addition to our Fairway Family for a very short time. He and I shared a long conversation about Lucille Ball and many other things when I met him in our community room one day.
Stay strong; I know you will.
