So sorry to see Jackies passing. I remember how sweet she was when working at JGH pharmacy. And of course seeing her around Lakewood. Thoughts and prayers to all. She will be missed.

I was so sorry to learn of your mother's passing Kathy and that of your husband also. My mother passed away at Lutheran Home on Feb. 8th and my father in late June last year, also at Lutheran. Both had entered Hultquist in June 2018--can't believe we never ran into each other.
Your mother was always so kind and understanding and PATIENT--I have thought of her through the years with fondness as I have thought of you. My heart and prayers go out to you and all your family at this time. God bless and keep you.

To Jackie's family, my sincerest condolences on her passing. She was always a hoot and a half. I always looked forward to talking with her when she would stop at the Hultquist front desk. She usually knew more of what was going on than I did!

I am so sorry to hear of Jacquie's passing. I have many memories of SWCS basketball games and Girl Scouting events over the years. It has been a long time, but happy to say, the memories are still fresh! May she rest in peace and rise in glory and may you, her family, find comfort in the shared stories of happy times together. Peace.

Dear Kathy and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of your Mom passing. Your Mom will always be very special to me. I will always remember the fun times we had at Jamestown General Hospital. I remember one night when our 3-11 shift ended we started walking out of the building together, I heard you call Jackie Mom and i think I said why did you call her Mom? You replied she IS my Mom! We all started laughing! Then your Mom said I could call her Mom too! At work she always seem to be there at the right time. You could be having a bad day and she always seemed to know. She would just smile and she would just make you feel better. I remember you had a party at your house. I think it was a Christmas party because we started talking about the size of the Christmas stockings. Then you were talking about the family tradition. Your Mom brought a tray of food and everything was great! Remember all the good times because they will never change. You will treasure them always! Take care of yourself and God bless you!

To the family of Jackie Meier. I just want to let you know what a delight it was to become an acquaintance of Jackie. I had several opportunities to drive her to various outings and she was always full of fun. I will always remember her witty quips and jovial laughter. She was just so much fun to be around and I will certainly miss having her on outings from Lutheran. I planned to stop by the funeral home but time got away from me. She will be sadly missed. Wes. Dear Kathy, Frank, Joni and Sue,
The ripple effect of your mom’s love across this country is incalculable.
It was so many years ago that we first met you all during a very difficult time for your family. Nevertheless, your mom opened her heart and home to us and our three small children: Charlie, Kelly and Timmy.
Sue and Joni were the babysitters, but we always knew Jackie wasn’t far away and was ready to step in with books, treats, games, lessons and fun for the kids. It wasn’t long before she became known in our family as “Grandma Jamestown.”
After leaving Jamestown for Florida we had another daughter, Valerie. We now have eight grandchildren of our own and know that Jackie’s enthusiasm, caring and kind spirit live on in the joy and love we all share. Our family is now spread over three states: Ohio, North Carolina and Kansas. I can only imagine how many other families Jackie has touched through her years of service to God and how her influence has spread.
God bless you and your families. Enjoy your time together. You remain in our prayers.
Sincere condolences,
Mark & Patty Spang

I wish I felt courageous enough to come to express my sympathy in person but think it is unwise. I remember Jacie as a very happy, fun person to be around. We shared Girl Scout activities in addition to being parents of SWCS classmates at the same time. May she rest in peace and forever live in the hearts of her loved ones. Hugs to you all.

When mom moved into Lutheran I introduced her to Jackie as "Margaret Johnson" and Jackie said "Oh, I've known her as Peg for yeeears, when we when were girl scout leaders together" I was so happy she had fallen with her old tent mate again. It was a joy to share moms visits with Jackie and her family who always kept the room decorated for the seasons and holidays and kept the candy bowl full! Quentin Johnson
