I was so sorry to hear of Paul's passing. He was about the sweetest man I'd ever met. Quiet and hardworking, Paul was my rock when i worked at PIE Nationwide. He knew everything and was so willing to help along a silly young gal that didn't have a clue. Thank goodness for Paul and his patience with me :0). He was always there, always willing to do whatever needed to be done. I learned a lot about trucking and dispatching from Paul.
Every once in a while I'd get to ride along with Paul when he made his deliveries and pick-ups for the day. I realized that everyone loved Paul. They always took the time to come out and visit with him for a minute to see how he was doing and what was up. Paul was one of those quiet, special people that only comes along every once in a while but really makes an impact on your life.
The world is a little bit sadder place without Paul in it. I'm so sorry Flo for your loss.

Florence, I am so sorry for your loss. I know that the days and months ahead will be a huge adjustment, so please give yourself a lot of grace. Time is a great healer and my hope for you is, that as time passes, the pain starts to lessen and the memories of the good times grow sweeter.

Paul...was a very great father to my wife Michelle,,,whom has many memories, but would prefer to keep them locked away in her heart.one memory she wishes to share,is,being in his tractor truck,,,listening to "BORN TO BE WILD",one of her favorite songs. And i as her husband remember him as a really nice guy..(and father in law),,,and he showed us a very nice time, when we visited him and Flo in New York....REST IN PEACE PAUL...you will be missed.....Ron and Michelle Youmans.....

I will remember Uncle Paul as much as an older brother as much as an Uncle. Taught me how to drive a go cart, work on cars, and took me on some of his first local trucking ventures as a helper. Will miss you Unc
