Our Dear Betty Thank you for 30 years of memories. You were not only the very best neighbor but friend to me and “grandma” to Peter, Kaitlyn , Megan and Lauren. You watched my kids grow to become adults and parents. Some of the memories we talked about when we were told of your passing are of course Kate and your Spanish rice and Sylvester the cat and Kate always running over sitting on the patio with you. Megan talked about how you got her interested in word search books and crossword puzzles And we laughed about how you pulled your garage to the curb by tying a rope around it. We are experiencing an empty spot in our lives knowing that someone of great importance has left us for the time being. Our relief from this loss is the knowledge that we shall meet again in a better place. My wife and I send our deepest condolences to Betty's friends and family we only had a short time to get to know her and feel a definite loss with her passing. She was a dear lady, a good friend, and the kind of neighbor that is hard to find. She will be missed and remembered with fondness. God's blessings.
