Maryann. I honestly don’t know how I could have made it through my teenage years without you. There was never a person who was too inconvenient for you, never a person you wouldn’t give the shirt off your back to help, never someone you wouldn’t help at any cost. I’m sorry that I didn’t get a chance to see you again before you left to go home to our Lord, but I know you are at peace. Your beautiful soul was and is such an inspiration to everyone that had the honor of knowing you. You were there for my dad when he was at his worst, there for my mom when she needed someone to cry to, and there for me, Heather, Ashley, and so many others who lost their way and or family. I’ll cherish all of the memories I have with you, and I know that the best parts of you will live on in your children, grandchildren, and nieces/nephews. You truly are a light in the dark for so many people, and I believe heaven gained a beautiful spirit the day you crossed over. “Spread your wings as you go, and when God takes you back, we’ll sing hallelujah you’re home.” I love you.

MaryAnn was such a giving self-less soul. The world, and the people around her were so very blessed to have her in their lives. I know that I feel blessed to have known her! I will always remember her laugh, smile, and her love for baking cakes. She taught me so much about cake baking- and I am glad to have had these moments to remember her by. <3 She will be dearly missed by all!

To Michelle, Marlene, and the entire family of my childhood friend Mary Ann, I am sorry for your loss. Mary Ann and I had been friends since kindergarten class at St. James. I will always remember her, as anyone who knew her would, for her beautiful smile and bubbly personality. She must have been the best grandmother ever. Again, I am very sorry for your loss.
