My sincere condolences go to Melissa's family. I was very saddened to read the obituary this morning, and I am so sorry for your loss. I remember Melissa well from her years at Southwestern, especially as a member of the Envirothon team in her junior and senior years. Her lively personality definitely led to many funny times during meetings and field trips. There is a team picture with her in it on the wall by the main office, taken back in April 2005, when she and her teammates won the county competition. I went to look at it this morning and it brought back many good memories. Getting teary-eyed now, thinking about those good times...
