I had Mrs. Luce as my sixth grade teacher and she left a lasting impact on me. She was fun, stern and a fantastic teacher. I appreciate all that she did for me during my year with her. Thoughts and prayers to her family.

Family,
My deepest condolences. I went to school with Barb from Charles Street Elementary School to Persell Elementary School, to Lincoln Jr. High and Jamestown High School. She was in my sixth grade class at Persell, and I think homeroom at JHS.
I recall playing some summer street games with her and the neighborhood kids in front of her parent's house on McKinley Ave off Colfax. She was terrific at sports. When my friends and I walked to Charles Street Elementary School we would go by where she lived or we'd take the steep wooden steps about a block further down Baker St. that led up to McKinley.
Barb was a bright witty person and had a great sense of humor and oh that pretty long red hair. Prior to the Sixth Grade Graduation dance, she bemoaned that she stood a foot taller than the boys.
May your memories of Barb keep you close and provide comfort during the difficult times ahead. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My love and prayers to Lee and family. Barb was my co-worker for many years at Randolph. I believe we started our careers there at about the same time. She was a great lady-very helpful to me in my teaching years. A strong lady, she always stood firm for what she believed and would fight for it.
I trust you will enjoy many fond memories of times together and that the Lord will provide a comfort and peace that can only come from Him.
You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
