To family and friends of John,
John had a long life, and I think it relates to how he treated everyone with the best of kindness and heart. Back in 1968's to the early 1970's I was a shopper at the lawn sales and household sales that John & Dorothy would run. John was a very good man and had the patience to deal with a young collector who hung on every word of wisdom about old glass or china or furniture, that John would impart. The invitation to rummage the packed barn looking for bottles, glass, and old postcards was a delightful experience
John not only shared his knowledge with me, of the many things about antiques he knew, but he was always kind to give me a price I could afford.
I will always remember knowing Dorothy & John Stormer as very nice people and truly think of them every time I pass by Wellman Road. May God grant grace and serenity to the family.
