Carolyn, Megan and Rachel, My hearts go out to you during this difficult time. When we moved to Hong Kong and traveled the US for the White House Easter Egg Roll, Dave would help us with getting to the event on time and logistics. When we stayed at the house, Dave enjoyed taking Max outside for a neighborhood walk with Megan and Rachel. I just remember how calm he was with Megan , Rachel and then later with my kids. It was wonderful seeing Dave in Savannah, GA last month. Forever in our hearts, The Lebecks Sandra, Tad, Max and Mika

My husband and I were clients of Dave’s for more than two decades. During that time we developed a friendship and respect for his integrity and enduring optimism. His honesty and upbeat energy were wonderful qualities that highlighted his personality. He cherished his family and was so proud of his daughters accomplishments. He will be missed and we are grateful for his advice and friendship. Our condolences to the family. Gene and Jane Fisher.

Sorry to hear the passing of David. We were high school friends at JHS and fellow students at Murray State University. Many fond memoires of the "Swede."

Carolyn, Megan, and Rachel, We are shocked and saddened for your loss. Mr. David Carlson was such a kind neighbor. He always wore a smile when he talked to his neighbors. I remember David used to drive my daughter, Hanna, to high school during her first year at Washington-Lee. His cheerful disposition always raised her spirit and made her mornings. David will be missed by our whole family. His absence will leave a hole in our neighborhood. May you take comfort in his memory. We will keep your family in our thoughts and prayers. I had the distinct pleasure of serving with Dave as a member of the Arlington Kiwanis club. He was quite a guy and his work with Kiwanis was motivated by all the good reasons. Serving the Children of the World was our motto and Dave lived up to it with a purpose. The Arlington community will miss Dave and so will all the other members of Kiwanis who served with him.
