My sympathies to Sue's family and friends. Sue was a valued volunteer at Lakewood Memorial Library for years. My mother and I always enjoyed the hours we worked with her - her sense of humor and quick wit brought sunshine into the library. I have missed her!

My thoughts and prayers are with you, Susan’s Family. Susan and I enjoyed many classes together at VMA and afterwards fun times at our class reunions. Always Susan’s wonderful smile and great sense of humor stood out. She will be sorely missed by all of us in the class of ‘62. May eternal rest now be hers.

My condolences go out to Sue’s family. I taught with Sue for many years, and our friendship continued on to the present. Sue has been a wonderful friend to many.
She welcomed the new teachers and was always there to help when needed. She hosted many summer teacher picnics until Covid. Sue would be there when a friend needed help-myself included. There are many “unsaid” things Sue did for the needy, anonymously . She was truly an Active Christian. I thank God for her presence in my life. Sue will be missed!

I want to extend my sympathy to Susan's family. We graduated from Villa Mara Academy together in 1962. She was a delightful, intelligent and loyal alumna/friend.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Susan was a wonderful friend during our years at VMA and VMC. She was blessed with a great sense of humor, intelligence, and caring for for fellow classmates. She was always truthful and brought out the best in her friends. I pray her family and friends will celebrate her life and know she is with Jesus enjoying her eternal peace.

To Sue’s family and friends,
My sympathies to all of you. Sue was a very special person and I enjoyed working with her at FCS. On my very first day of teaching in 1972 she was the first person to welcome me into the faculty room. For a nervous, uncertain, brand new teacher it was a wonderful kindness. She was friendly, loved to laugh and always asked about my family when we saw each other in later years. She was generous in sharing her lakeside home with the faculty. She will be missed. My sincere condolences to the Rieger Family. I had Sue for business law and we got along famously! My favorite story about Sue was while I was working for the Jamestown Police Department in the mid to late 1980’s, she had a medical emergency while driving on Washington Street. My partner, Art Boskat, was driving the patrol car and we spotted her car being operated in an erratic manner and she was passed out behind the wheel. My partner maneuvered the patrol car close to her car and I quickly dove into the open window of her car and safely brought her car to a stop and awaited the arrival of an ambulance. She was one of my favorite teachers from Frewsburg Central School and we remained friends well after I graduated in 1967. REST IN PEACE my friend.

The Rieger family,
Miss Rieger was one of the best, me along with Steve Shultz and Jeff Frew played a lot of double deck Pinochle in 1967/68 with Miss Rieger, we started when she lived on Pearl Street and continued when she moved to Main Street. Then in the mid 70’s I learned to play bridge with Miss Rieger at the church hall. We played a lot of bridge until I moved out of Frewsburg in 1981.
I am sure my mom met Sue at heavens gate a few days ago. Another angel in heaven. Prayers to the family for these hard times, I will miss her.
