"May the Angels welcome you to Paradise, may the Martyrs greet you along the way, and may you see the face of the Lord this day, Alleluia." Long before she was Matt's Mom, she was my Aunt Toady. She was a very involved, kindly Aunt and it was always a pleasure to see her. She approached every task with her customary competence and vitality. She had a tender heart & had empathy for others. When you spoke to her, you felt like you were being heard. She was an "encourager" -- in 1971 when my Mom got a very serious diagnosis, Aunt Toady was one of our mainstays - she lifted us up & helped us keep going. She was a very devoted wife to dear Uncle George, a terrific Mom, a loving sister, a super Aunt, and a loyal & caring friend.
Let us all remember the words of Our Lord to St. Dismas, also known as the "Good Thief." St. Dismas said, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom." Jesus replied, "Amen, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise."
