Aunt Eva was a sweet and sophisticated lady. She, and Uncle Jack were always kind, and loving. "Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy ."Love you Aunt Eva.

I am honored to have known and cared for Eva at Lutheran. She very quickly became one of my favorite residents. She was always so appreciative and sweet to me, and her witty remarks always made me laugh. One of my favorite memories was when she got her hair done and I told her how beautiful she looked and asked her if she had seen it. She replied “no, I can’t see myself in the mirror”, so I pulled out my phone to show her herself on the forward facing camera. She said “oh wow, that’s what I look like? Hmmm… well okay” with a little chuckle and big smile on her face. Still makes me smile when I think about it. Eva will be greatly missed! I am sorry to the friends and family of Eva for their loss.

I have many fond memories of Eva from her time at 50 Norton Ave. I will cherish my memories of our chats in the courtyard, breakfasts out, blowing kisses to each other, watching her enjoy her first ever root beer float. She loved her family, friends, and church so much. Sending prayers of comfort to you all.
