We knew Jackson both as a neighbor and as our student. He had a precociousness, but that also made him engaging. We saw him mature as he grew older. Fortunately, we heard him perform at the Casino in 2019 as we attended his Southwestern class 30th reunion. It was so nice to see his enthusiasm and vitality at that time. We were very saddened to learn of his passing but will have fond memories of him as we listen to his CDs. Carol and Gil Miekina

Jackson & I first met while attending his SWCS Athletic Complex fundraiser where a mutual friend & SW class alumni introduced us. Later my younger daughter, Holly, joined the appreciation of his talent & big heart while she fought several health issues. He emailed me & kept in contact with us and cheered us both up along her recovery, his music playing in my vehicle many times lifting me up. We attended July gigs at Lakewood Beach for many years, the final gig attended was this past year at The Casino--her first as an adult.
We're So sorry he passed, but so blessed to reconnect and get one more hug on his break; now he lightens all the heavens. He'll always be near for any and everyone, no doubt. Bless your family...

Dear Theresa, Asher and family,
I am so so sorry for your loss. I teach at JHS and was teaching a business of music class when I got in touch with Jackson; he was so kind and gracious to come to the school and speak about the business side of music. To think he took time out of his busy schedule for a small group of students was incredible. I know this is completely heartbreaking, and I am praying for all of you that the Lord would comfort you in this very sad time.

To Theresa and Asher, I never got the opportunity to meet you. I knew your husband and dad in high school. We were competitors in cross country and track, from different schools. In seeing this news it broke my heart for the two of you, and from reading the messages from everywhere, it is clear he continued being an amazing person. I am so sorry for your loss.
Jackson was always such an amazing competitor and friend. Even after our high school days he always made a point to stop whatever he was doing to say hello, I guess just being him. We all loved hearing him sing and put the crowd in such a great mood. He embodied what I hope we all live to be every day.
My thoughts are with you and the entire Rohm family.

Kay and I fondly remember Jackson when he was young growing up on Lake Chautauqua. So appreciated his athleticism, especially running the Bemus Point 10k each summer. He just smoked us every time. He will truly be missed, but we’ll always remember him for his great music, wonderful personality and big heart. Our heart and prayers are with all of you. RIP Jackson

The news of Jackson’s passing hit hard as the flood of memories rushed back deep from the heart. Amazing summers in Chautauqua; laughter, unmitigated joy, and always music. Jackson was the type of person you could not see for years, and when you did, it was as if time and distance was never there. He was fiercely, loyal, kind, and always a connector and friend. I share in the deep grieving of this news, but find solace in the mere fact that he all made us better, and that his indelible spirit will live on in all of us.

Jackson was a friend of our kids, but we felt like he was our friend, too. It's unusual for someone to capture the hearts of so many age groups, but Jackson crossed all generations with his winning smile, quick conversation, upbeat lifestyle and most of all, that awesome music! How we will miss all of that! Our hearts, though broken, and deepest sympathy go out to Theresa, Asher, Bob, Leslie and family members.

So saddened ,as we all are , by Jackson’s passing . He and Amy were my students at SWCS. He was so athletic, intelligent and handsome. I would be lying if I didn’t say we sometimes had our “moments” in the classroom because I wanted him to “love” French and that wasn’t always the case… lol He had such wit, such purpose and was loved, and will always be, by so many. My heartfelt condolences to his wife, precious son and all his family .
Love and Mille bises, Jackson

I’ve known Jackson since he was a little boy. His mother & sister & he lived in the same apt complex. Our kids later went through school together, played in bands, & our oldest son Aaron, graduated with him. I’m so glad we got to hear him perform this past summer & chat with him and catch up on his family & life. To know Jackson was to love him. He was the kindest, most caring guy ever. Jackson will be so missed by so many. He will live on in our hearts. Our love goes out to his family. ❤️

I’m so sorry to hear of Jackson’s passing. I first met him when my sister and brother-in-law introduced me to him between performances at Southern Tier Brewery last summer. I have to say that I’ve never met a nicer, genuinely warm person as Jackson. He was one of those people you immediately feel a warmth from and for upon meeting him. I just wanted to extend my sincere and deepest condolences to his wonderful family. My prayers are with you all.
