Obituary of Ronald L. Graham

Ronald L. Graham, 74, of 1598 Orr Street, died Thursday February 2, 2023, surrounded by his loving family at home. He was born April 27, 1948, in Corinth, MS, a son of the late Willie and Ilean Walker Graham. He was a 1966 graduate of Jamestown High School, earned an associate degree from Jamestown Community College in 1968 and then a bachelor's degree in Political Science from Baldwin Wallace University in 1972. He was employed by Zion Covenant Church in facility maintenance. His 50 years of service to others include the development of numerous youth and young adult programs, most notably the Chautauqua Striders Youth Development Program and Infinity Visual and Performing Arts. Mr. Graham dedicated his life to helping others and is fondly remembered by countless people whose lives he touched through coaching, mentoring, and friendship. Surviving is his wife Helen Brostrom Graham, whom he married October 20, 1978; five children Charles (Alise) Gibson of Ashville, Tamu (David) Reinhardt of Jamestown, Rahsaan (Michelle) Graham of New York City, Faith Graham of Jamestown and Lee Anne Graham of Charlotte, NC; eight grandchildren Sarah Gibson, Olivia Reinhardt, Terrence Graham, Eliana Graham, Natalie Reinhardt, Briana Hodnett, Marcus Graham and Annaka Graham; numerous bonus children; several nieces and nephews, several cousins, and a sister in law Rachel Graham of Bemus Point. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by 2 brothers John and Lonnie Graham. A memorial service will be held at 11 am Friday in Zion Covenant Church. Friends will be received from noon to 2 pm and 4-8 pm Thursday in the Lind Funeral Home.
