Many fond memories come to mind regarding Josie. She was such a kind and gentle soul, always a pleasure to converse with. With a comforting smile on her face, she would put you at your ease. Enjoyed seeing her at mass at St. John, where she always looked so put together- hair perfectly coiffed, attire so lovely. She and her husband made quite the handsome couple.
I am reminded of a story of Josie from my father (Al DiMaio) . Together with other neighborhood kids they would sled down Windsor St. in the winter having a good old time, making sure they would slide /wipe out to the side before hitting Second St. What a sight that must have been back in the day!
Our deepest sympathy to Josie’s family. What a treasure she was to all she came in contact with.
