I am so glad that life's path allowed me to meet Jim. I had (unknowingly) met his daughter Melanie about 10 years ago, as she was the Principal at School of the Holy Childhood and hired me as a Music Teacher/Music Therapist. All these years later, I ended up working at Glenmere Assisted Living where Jim resided, and we bonded over our shared love of music. Jim was incredibly charismatic, funny, helpful, friendly, and easy-going. Everyone, including staff and his fellow Residents, loved Jim. I will forever cherish the moments we shared together, the wonderful songs he introduced me to ("I Wanna Hitch A Ride With Santa Claus," "The Umbrella Man," "At Sundown"), and the $20 keyboard that he got from Cracker Barrel (which I will put to good use in his honor). The sign of a wonderful human, he will be incredibly missed by all who had the opportunity to know him.
