Lois was a lovely lady who truly loved the Lord and family and friends around her.
I counted it a privilege to be her pastor for a short while at Calvary Baptist church.

My deepest sympathy to Lois's family and friends. She was a great mother-in-law to me many years ago. She was always a great listener. And I loved having coffee with her in her kitchen and to just sit and talk. Keeping all who loved her in my thoughts and prayers.

Lois was the very best mother-in-law, always at the ready to give advice, to console, or someone to lean on when needed. She was a great listener and very wise. She shared her wisdom when summoned by her children, her grandchildren, or anyone who asked.
A great cook, and quick to make a dish at family gatherings, or when a family member was in need. Her life stories were spell binding as she spoke about historical events and family history.
If we needed advice, she always seemed to have an appropriate life story and solution that fit the problem. I will truly miss our talks, visits and shared meals with Lois. She was a great woman in my life, my wife’s, and children’s lives. She had unbelievable strength of character, which inspired her four children and grand children. She was like a second mother to many, and a loving woman with a beautiful soul. Condolences to her children, their spouses, and grandchildren. May you rest in peace Lois.

Our deepest condolences to you all. My husband and I absolutely adored her. She loved watching and listening to our youngest daughter play and give "speeches". She's only 4. Our hearts are truly broken. She'll be missed dearly. We loved her like she was a part of our family.

My deepest sympathy to your family. I am one of Maxine’s friends from Lakewood Tim Hortons. My friend Jane & I looked forward to seeing her every visit and worried when we didn’t see her. She was very caring and loved seeing my granddaughter and my great grandbaby as well. She is already deeply missed.
