I'm so sorry to hear of Martha's passing and sorry that I could not be at the service. I remember Martha as a truly loving, caring foster mom. She provided so many children with everlasting memories of kind family relationships. I learned so much from her as she fostered so many children! She always welcomed me into her home for all those social services visits. What a remarkable woman and mother to all. Whenever a beautiful soul goes home there is a trail of beautiful memories. To the Crandall family I was saddened to read of your Mother’s passing. She nurtured an enduring legacy carried on through all of you. It was my joy to know her and I am once again reminded of the love for so many that our mothers shared.

Marlene, we are so very sorry for the loss of your Mother. She sounded like an amazing human being, who showed love and kindness all through her life in her service to others and selflessness of taking in so many grateful children, who needed her love and guidance. The world was a better place for 96 wonderful years that your Mother graced us with her love of God, family and service to her community. She will be greatly and deeply missed. Our hearts and prayers go out to you. Kerry and Tom. I'm sorry I can't be there for you. Love you both very much!

I am so sorry to see Martha has passed. I remember her making donuts the day I came home with Mary from school. I would also see her at Sears when she worked there in Security. She was always so kind and pleasant.

Martha had a soul of strength and a huge heart filled with warmth. I will never forget her bright smile and chuckle. I loved to sit at the table and hear her stories of days past. Memories of her will forever bring a smile to my heart.

So sorry to hear of Martha's passing. I have so many great memories of coming up to the farm and playing with Marlene in the hay barn, milking the cows, riding the horse down to the sugar shanty and stirring the maple syrup and staying overnight. Martha was always so kind and such a sweet lady and fun to be around. My mom and dad ( Art and Maxine Cook) also send their sympathy as they got to now Martha better from church and would give her a ride home after church sometimes. My Mom was always concerned when Martha was not there at church and wanted me to check to see why. I know you all will truly miss her, as she was a wonderful mother to you all and the children she fostered. Rest in peace Martha, you are home with your family who as passed before you!
