Oh coach where do I start? When my boys lost their grandfather you were there for them. I'll forever be grateful for that. You were amazing to so many in the town!! I'll miss seeing you at all the ball games. Thanks for spending sometime woth me at myrtle beach. I'll miss our talks. Sending love to family and friends I know so many are hurting right now.

I played for Southside as a young girl. The entire coaching staff was excellent in instilling the confidence I needed as a young, preteen girl, both on and off of the field. But coach fish, undeniably was the one whom the relationship lasted even off the field. From the trust he built through his own leadership I have grown to become a coach as well because of the impact and love he shared with me and my teammates when I played. The things I experienced with Tom as a mentor have stuck with me my entire young life into adulthood and I shall continue to carry the beautiful pieces with me in life as I remember the moments I was Able to share with coach/dj fish. Thank you Erin, Eric and Michael for sharing your amazing dad with all of us in the community!! Forever loved and always missed, never ever forgotten! -JV # 29 - Year: 2006
