John was a great friend of Sue's and mine for well over 30 years. We shared much in common and had many good times together even though we lived so far apart. We called him "The Incredible John T." for his outlook on life and how much fun we had whether we were together or talking on the phone. He embraced a lot of the new technology and got very good at using it to his advantage, We were so grateful to spent some time with him last spring, something we had wanted to do for a while. It happened because the previous November of 2022 was when the big snow storm came.pushed the trip back, which worked out great! From sharing meals to sharing to stories to being big kids one last time when we went to his favorite ice cream stand, it's a visit Sue and I will never forget. Doris, thanks for sharing your life with John for the all too short time you did. We will surely miss him! Keith and Sue Van Sant Mount Laurel, New Jersey

I had the good fortune to work with John, over the phone for a few years, then eventually together on the railroad until he retired in 2001. He, 2 others and I used to golf Thursday mornings before we went to work in the afternoon. I enjoyed working and learning from him and helping him out when he and Penny moved back to western NY after he retired. We kept in touch and would meet up for a St. Patrick’s Day meal for many years and talk on the phone a few times a year. Glad I got to share almost 40 years of friendship with him.
