Obituary of Barbara J. Johnstone

Barbara J. Johnstone, 77, of Falconer, passed away Saturday November 25, 2023, in her home surrounded by her family. She was born August 30, 1946, in Jamestown, NY, a daughter of the late Frank and Pearl Engle. Barbara was a 1964 graduate of Frewsburg High School and continued her education with an associate degree at Jamestown Business College. Before her retirement she was employed at Blackstone and most recently at TitanX. Barb enjoyed travelling but most importantly she loved to spend time with her family. She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church for over 50 years. Surviving Is her son Matthew (Penni) Johnstone of Falconer; two granddaughters Amanda Johnstone, Elizabeth (Zach) Johnson and 4 great grandsons. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her son Frank Johnstone who passed away in 1993; great granddaughter Kenzington Johnson on November 13, 2023, and her siblings. Respecting Barbara's wishes, visitation will not be observed. A private family service will be held at a later date.
