Sending loving thoughts to strengthen all of you to get through this horrific time. I loved laughing with Marla about her fb posts about Layne being a teenager. Working in the NYRO, it was always a pleasure tag teaming with Marla obtaining guard services for the judges. We always made time to chat a bit, always extending well wishes. As Marla sleeps in peace, before we know it, she will be awaken again just as God promise. Until then, I will strive to make it to see that grand rising and reunion of our dear Marla and many of our loved ones who fell asleep in death. (John 5: 25-29 and Rev 21:4).
As a Giants fan, I'll root for the Bills too (Go New York!).

The the Family of Marla. My fondest memory of Marla was when she brought her Mom Dian to the Silver Creek Class of ‘66 Reunion at Cabama Sam’s at Sunset Bay so we could see her and spend time with her. We made great memories. That was the last time we saw Dian. There are no words to express the sadness in my heart.

I am incredibly saddened by the loss of a beautiful person both inside and out. She was a colleague and a friend who I had the honor and privilege of working with for the last five years. I join with everyone else in my shock, dismay and sadness in learning of Marla’s passing. She was such a bright spirit with a (somewhat wicked) sense of humor, quick smile and easy manner. To Marla's family
I wanted to share with you during your time of grieving, hoping and pray for your strength. With that being said I hoping that these words will show you how much Marla meant to me, she understood me and cared. With much sincerity and love in your time of need in the sudden passing of a loved one.

This is terrible news. I was married to Marla's friend Karen Volpe, who passed in 2019. Marla was an exceptional friend to Karen and a good person. Funny, too, and I think we all know that. This is a stunning loss.
