Amanda and family. I’m so sorry for the loss of your Dad. I remember the day I met him at the garage I thought he was just another customer. Told him how amazing you were fixing my car. That’s when he said “She’s my daughter!! “ I could tell how proud of you he was !! Thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

My parents were friends with his parents. Armando was a neighbor growing up! I recall his fondness for motorbikes and all things with engines. I am sorry for his loss for all members of his family.

My sincerest condolences to Armando’s family. He was and is a very special person. I called him Cal in latter years but he’ll always be Armando to me. Armando and I ran track together at Lincoln Jr High School. We both ran the same event. The 440 yard dash. We ran neck to neck every race. I always looked up to him as he was in the ninth grade and I was in the eighth. We developed a good friendship during those early years all the way thru our adult years. We both had a common interest in cars and motorcycles! He was the best at his trade. None better. I’m going to miss him. I’m praying that God gives his family comfort and his peace during this time of loss. I’ll look forward to running with him again where we’ll never get tired!! Godspeed Armando

Remembering the good ole days when we built mini bikes, had go carts and small motorcycles then motorcross motorcycles and racing together since age 13. In later years helping him with his body shop when they did the addition. God Bless all of his family and he will be sadly missed in our hearts and never forgotten.

Cal was my lifelong friend. The brother I never had. And much more.
I viewed Cal as close to immortal. Surrender was not in his vocabulary that I know of. He was a fierce competitor in motorcycle racing long ago and far away. His attention to detail was amazing. He was a magician with all things mechanical. Didn’t matter if it was a race motorcycle, car, boat, airplane, washing machine. He viewed everything mechanical the same way. And when he was done, it was right. Better than the factory made it. True.
He was devoted to his family, his friends, his community, and the betterment of humanity. He was still diving with the Rescue Team at age 68. Try to pass that test at 68. You won’t. He did.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. Godspeed Cal. Heaven has a place for you. (My guess is that he will soon be making some repairs and improvements to the place).
We have lost a man that was truly amazing and unique. The world is a poorer place with his passing.

Cal and his family are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. He was one of the best people we've known. Always there to help, going above and beyond and asking for nothing in return. Rest in peace Cal. We will miss you.

Armando was one of the hardest workers I knew. His work was impeccable, and it showed! He had a good heart and work ethic. His influence was felt across the miles. RIP Armando, you will be missed.
