Obituary of Armando V. Calamungi
Armando V. "Cal" Calamungi, 69, of Jamestown, died Thursday May 23, 2024, in UPMC Chautauqua.
He was born November 2, 1954, a son of the late Salvatore "Terry" and Irene Beer Calamungi.
He was a 1972 graduate of Jamestown High School. He became the proud owner and founder of C&A Auto & Marine Inc. He had a true love for the art of his craft.
A giving man that loved his community was also a member of the Chautauqua County Water Emergency Team and a member of the Kiantone Volunteer Fire Department.
Cal was an avid shooter, a lifelong lover of all things with an engine, and, most importantly, a loving father and friend.
Surviving is a daughter Amanda (Reuben) Paddock of Mayville; stepdaughters Jennifer (Shane) Swan of Gerry and Shelly (Chris) Teed of Columbus, OH; grandchildren Nolianna Calamungi Paddock, Easton Swan, Theodore Teed, and Mason, Jackson, Mattias, Gwyneth and Lucas Kraft; a brother Gottfried (Patricia) Calamungi of St. Augustine, FL and a niece Leslie Outten of Fleming Island, FL.
The funeral will be held at 2 pm Thursday in the Lind Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Honoring Cal's wishes, visitation will not be observed.
