Uncle Everett, was a fantastic story teller. So much laughter with great information on family history. His love passed through his smile of his family. I'm truly blessed with memories.

Dear Great-Aunt Joan, Wendy, Brian, Craig, Beth, and families,
My mom Meridith Gerring, my aunt Shirley Gerring Pillar, my cousins Doug Lindquist and Craig Lindquist, and my siblings Nicole Gerring, Rob Gerring, Steve Gerring and I are very sorry for your loss. We enjoyed seeing Uncle Everett at Swan family reunions at Christmas and in the summertime. My mom remembers one time when Uncle Everett drove me, my parents, and my siblings from Stockton back to our house in Bemus Point after we became stranded during a snowstorm. We will always remember his kindness. You are in our thoughts and prayers during this time.
Love,
Michele Gerring (Bob Gerring's daughter and Edith Swan Gerring's granddaughter)

Very sad to hear this! Everett was so kind at his core and knowing him while I was a child showed how caring he was! Knowing that I didn't have a father in my life, he always included me and the rest of Brian's friends in all and any activities. He was a leader and a teacher of right from wrong. Was as strong as an ox and as graceful as a swan! He will be missed and will always be the example of what men, fathers and husband's should always be! Very sorry for your loss my friends the Swan family.

Will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered. Dad was strong, worked hard, helped us know right from wrong, and was a fighter. He fought the good fight. He taught us that money was nothing and family was everything. He also knew the peace and beauty of where he was going in Heaven. He had had a glimpse of it. The good Lord watched over him many times and it was time for dad to go home. We will be together again one day.
