Dear Entire Family of “Cousin Skipper”, 6/6/2024 As the family of “Aunt Sally”, please know we extend our deepest, most heartfelt condolences. During our youth, ”us city folk” always enjoyed visiting the family farm in Ellington; it was very special to each of us then AND continues to hold many dear memories to this day. Seeing Aunt Pauline and Uncle Albert, along with Skipper and all his wonderful brothers and sisters was a real treat! We anticipated going there with high excitement as we always had fun altogether! In telling my family (who lives out west) of Skipper’s passing, the memories of Skip started flowing in…with how much he loved our Mother, “Aunt Sally” (and she loved him!), how AWESOME all the Hitchcock’s are and how they would give the shirts off their backs to help others, how wonderfully we were treated during visits and how very giving and nice people they all are, etc.! One particular memory shared from cousin Scotty was when he was very, very young, he got to spent some time during the summers at Aunt Pauline’s and how nice Skipper was…he remembers loading and unloading his tractor trailer full of hay bales with him. Skipper even let Scotty drive his semi a little bit!!! (Wow!) A memory he holds dear to this day. Ironically enough, throughout his working career and to this day, Scotty still maintains a semi-tractor trailer license and very detailed trailer knowledge! Hmmm, wonder if that started way back then...Thanks Cousin Skipper!!! GOD’s blessings are being prayed for Skipper by all of his Pacheco Family. May he be tightly held in our LORD’s precious arms while being lovely joined by his beautiful family where they can all be together for eternity in Heaven. All our Love, Admiration, Respect and Sympathies, Cousins ~ Stevie, Sonya, Sherry, Suzy, Scotty and Shelly
